Exparel®, a single-dose analgesic, is now being used for select procedures at the Pope Plastic Surgery

Exparel is now available at Pope Plastic Surgery to help patients manage discomfort after cosmetic surgery at the Orlando, FL, practice. For those who are concerned about taking opioids to relieve their post-surgical pain, Exparel may be a good alternative. The single-dose analgesic is non-opioidal.

How long does Exparel block last?

Exparel lasts up to 72 hours for pain control and management. A single intraoperative injection treats pain at the incision site with reduced opioid requirements, eliminating the need for catheters, pumps and other pain management delivery devices.

How effective is Exparel?
